How to Connect Skullcandy Crusher headphones to Xbox 360
If you have a pair of Skullcandy Crushers headphones and want to use them with your Xbox 360, there are a few things you need to do. First, you’ll need to purchase an adapter that will allow you to connect the headphones to the gaming system. Once you have the adapter, simply plug it into the 5mm jack on the Xbox controller, and then plug your headphones into the adapter. You should then be able to hear the game audio through your headphones.
How to Connect Skullcandy Crusher headphones to Xbox 360
Using Skullcandy Crusher Headphones with the Xbox 360:
Do not plug your headphones into the Xbox 360 controller to connect them. You must plug them in directly to your laptop or pc. If you’re using a headset, it’s best to use a headphone jack splitter and run one wire of each on the same line. Then, plug one of them into your computer and one into your Xbox 360 controller. They can also be plugged into separate controllers and then back in individually when unplugged from their respective consoles.
If using a splitter, you will need to plug into the headphone input of your Xbox 360 controller. Depending on the headphones you have, they may also require a quick adapter to bling them up with the Xbox 360 controller.
Make sure both consoles are connected and turned on. If it’s not already, put your microphone on mute for both Xbox Live and in-game chat features. This will hold true for any other device you are going to use with them as well. When connected through a PC, use the Windows Volume Mixer to adjust the volume of game sounds and voice chat independently from your computer volume. On Xbox Live, go to system settings and make sure that voice volume is set up properly.
If you are using a headset, it should be plugged into the Xbox 360 controller. The microphone will sit on your chin; the wire will run into the right ear cup and then be plugged into your controller. If you are using headphones, you need to plug them directly into either your computer or your Xbox 360 console before connecting to any other devices.
Once they are connected, boot up Call Of Duty Black Ops 2. Make sure you have booted up the game through the option that allows all players to communicate with each other throughout matchmaking (if there is one). If not, make sure you have selected an option that allows voice chat in-game if it is an option. When you get to the multiplayer lobby, go to your audio settings page and set it either on stereo or 5.1.
From this point on, if you begin playing with the players in your party who do not have headphones plugged into them, they will hear the game sounds come through their TV. If the other players have headphones plugged in and are playing a multiplayer match, then they will hear everything through their own headsets or headphones. If a player without a set of headphones wants to talk to one who does, you can let them use your headset or give them a quick ear jack splitter so that they can hear everything directly from the Xbox 360 controllers as well.
